Not a single jaggy- I've got all the graphics settings turned up to full power, and even the internal resolution bumped to 3x... 100% speed no matter what.

The only issue I have is that the music seems to just stop. Sound effects and ambient stuff is fine, though.

Thought I'd post a screencap for everyone to check out... what a gorgeous game.

System:

Core i7980x
NVidia GTX 480
10 GB Ram
Windows 7 x64

yeah, well, there's already a thread for this game; no need to open new ones. (look for it in the stickied "Game index thread")

...dude, are you rich or somethin'? That system is a killer......though I wouldn't know what 10Gigs of RAM were good for *shrug*

The game looks amazing!

I have to ask though, how do you have 10GB of ram? I'm guessing you have 6 ram slots on your mobo, so best I can figure you have either 2-4gb sticks and 1-2gb stick or 3-2gb sticks and 2-2gb sticks leaving one empty slot?

You sure you don't have 12 gb of ram? Just curious, as I've never heard of a system with 10gb before. Smile

I built this system for a little under 2K just scooping up deals from newegg and Microcenter. The board is a newer ASUS one, and it has a bunch of ram slots- I've got 5 2GB sticks in it presently.

That amount of ram (and more) is necessary for video editing and visual effects work, which is what I do for work. Possibly the greatest thing about my job- an excuse to build a monster like this!

I've browsed around quite a bit, and I've not found anything in the form of a solution to the sound issues, but quite a few other people experiencing it.
Maybe I missed something?

I see why you'd want that for video editing, I've made some videos of like 3 minutes, it was just some still-picture animation over some footage, yet the editor would always crash when rendering it so I had to split it in 2 parts... Probably that video editor sucked big time though.

well, you didn't even tell us what game exactly you're talking about...there's, like, 10 RE games Wink
if you're talking about RE 0 or remake on the gamecube, yeah, those still have music issues and as far as I know, there's no fix to that. The Wii titles don't have those issues.

This is an old issues with DSP HLE (Not even in the LLE, the sound does not work in this game).Sad
The only solution to this is to use the version of the Wii (Resident Evil Archives) sound works without problems (Perfect for me in HLE).Wink

Well you should definitely get 6 sticks for ram if you want to run them in triple channel.
Since i see you have i7 980x that's only way it would run you are actually crippling your system with running only 5 sticks..
You would have much faster system with only 6gb then your 10 now, its either 6gb or 12gb for triple channel....

Yup, this is exactly why I asked. OP, you really shouldn't be running your machine like that, with 5 sticks on a 6 slot system. Either have 3 sticks or 6. As it stands now, 6gb in triple channel is far better than the way you're running it. I would advise you to remove two stick immediately and consult your mobo instructions so you set up the remaining three right. And 6gb should be more than enough to do anything you need.
