that's a bizarre one, thanks for the report... it took me a little while to track this down, but there appear to be a few artifacts like that on some of the dds textures... a quick glance at the png pack looks ok, so you can use that for now if you want
I updated a few components of my dds converter and reran the textures and the artifacts seem to have disappeared. I'm going to tinker a little bit and rerun the textures. If everything looks good I'll reupload a new pack in a few days 11-18-2019, 09:19 AM

v1.4 is up. PNG pack is unchanged, DDS pack should now be fine. I don't have time to do a full playthrough at the moment, but I played the first 10 minutes and battle game, didn't notice any errors. I also loaded up the 5 or 6 saves I have, and wandered around a few areas without noticing anything.
The original DDS conversion happened right before my video card died earlier this year, so that was probably the culprit. As always, if you notice any more problems let me know. 11-19-2019, 04:50 AM

Your DDS pack looks amazing now. You should team up with the guys behind the RE2 and RE3 Seamless HD Packs.
Does anyone know of any plans on fixing the missing textures when using the widescreen cheats? The only way to realistically improve the pack would be to create new textures, which is beyond the scope of both packs. Surely those that want HD packs for RE2 and RE3 would want one for Code: Veronica as well. Even though the tools used are different, they both accomplish the same thing. They make the classics look better. For the second question, you can ignore. It would be beyond the scope of your project. Thank you for your work! 11-30-2019, 07:28 AM

But yeah, no promises in regards to those being fixed |
