So after completing Resident Evil 6 on every characters chapters and unlocking most of the things I must say I'm disappointed with it.

The story was perfectly fine but compared to RE4 and RE5 the game in general was a major setback. The controls were clunky and the new skills system was a bad replacement of the treasure system which I liked very much.

The ability not be able to buy or upgrade individual weapons was a dissatisfaction and not be able to choose weapons before a chapter like in RE5 was also a dissatisfaction and no infinite Rocket Launcher.....bad move.

And also I have never experienced such a annoying RE game were I have died so many cheap deaths just because missing hitting a button or not sprinting fast enough. God, not even RE4 was that annoying were RE5 was the easiest RE ever made.

I had high hopes for this game, but luckily the story saves it so it's not a completely waste of time.

What do you guys thing of RE6?

And in other news, Crysis 3 is coming in February next year which is so exciting.

Recently got off a Crysis marathon with Crysis, Warhead and Crysis 2.
I must say I like coming back to New York in Crysis 3 and explore the nano domes. Crysis 2 is my favorite Crysis so far and I love the atmosphere and running around in a city of chaos. The story was good too.

What's also exciting is the ability to use a bow in Crysis 3, it will be kick-ass *rubbing my hands*

It's only a few measly months left now, this game is top priority. More then Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon and Paper Mario Sticker Star.

Any Crysis nuts here also waiting eagerly? What are you're thoughts of what you have seen from the trailer?

Waiting for the PC release of Resident Evil 6, which should be at 25 November, so I can't pass my judgement yet.
How was the performance of the game on whatever console you played it on?

As for Crysis. I have never played the games... only used them as benchmarking tools.
Crysis 3 looks amazing though, the new engine et al. The predator mode also looks amazing.

For Europe there is. It should be the 25th here.
America doesn't have a definitive date, but it's speculated to come five days later.

The performance was good (PS3), I think it was on par with RE5 even which had great performance.

You'll be wise going with the PC version, it'll be nicer looking and smoother.

As for Crysis 3, yeah it's amazing isn't it.
Crysis 2 on DX11 on highest settings + the HD Texture pack....oh mama. I drool thinking how Crysis 3 will be.

Crysis 3 should be a bomb yeah Wink

Off-topic but am I the only one to notice the lack of excitement about WiiU launch?

Ah the WiiU, hmm can't say I'm the slightest interested in that. I'd actually take a new Crysis game over the WiiU any day.

BTW doesn't this song just give you the shivers? It's in Crysis 2 in the beginning of the game when you step out from a decontamination building looking at the buildings in New York...

I really hope they have some good tunes for Crysis 3!

Your standards for stories and plots must be really low.

It's going to suck (the predator mode that is), mark my words. When the predators kill a cell the cell respawns as a predator. So the cells have to take down the predators really fast or they're fucked. I have no idea how they are going to balance this.

There are a few other games that have implemented the same style of multiplayer and it gets old really fast, plus it's insanely hard to balance.

I love when developers do this stuff. It just shows me that they're real people with a sense of humor, not mindless drones working for people who don't allow them to express their creativity (although a lot of times the two overlap).

Ha ha hey now there are over 7 billion people on this planet, we're all bound to be different. I like my taste in games just as much as you like yours.
