omg
too perfect i have bought street fighter iv and now i'm waiting for that game! "Capcom has finally announced that Resident Evil 5 will be released on PC in September. Those of you in North America will get it on September 15th while Europe will have to wait a few more days until September 18th. The game will have been out for a number of months on PS3 and Xbox 360 by the time the PC version arrives. So Capcom has included some additional features to tempt you to either buy it again, or give PC players some ammunition when arguing why it was worth the wait. First up, the game will be playable in 3D if you have the right setup to play with the Nvidia 3D Vision Kit (Nvidia goggles, 120Hz display, compatible GeForce graphics card, Windows 7 or Vista). Work has been done on the game to give it depth and make objects leap out of the screen at you if you choose to play in this mode. Alongside offering additional costumes for both Chris and Sheva, and online matchmaking, those of you with a powerful rig are going to be most interested with the updated Mercenaries mode. Mercenaries is a mini-game which sets you a challenge that is usually done under pressure e.g. timed. Capcom are claiming the PC version of this mode can cope with three-times the enemies seen on the PS3 and Xbox 360. " 07-18-2009, 08:01 PM

It has been said that Capcom makes games now for PC first, XBOX/PS3 are then ported which is why the latest games run as well as they do once they are released on the PC. After viewing the benchmark I am blow away by the graphics and hope that the game as a whole is just as good. I am really looking forward to buying this game and playing it with fiends online. That online co-op sounds similar to the new survival mode in L4D - of which I love to death.
On another side note, if you download this benchmark, see what you get in both dx10 and dx9 and see if you get vastly different scores. I know I did. A few at Futuremark said that Area 3 in dx10 will run at about 17 FPS (which I confirmed to be true just now). ![]() ![]() 07-18-2009, 08:11 PM
can we play co-op mode offline like in ps3?

I would be willing to bet money you could, but possibly be unable to save in much the same way as SF4. (Meaning offline account to save locally)

my re5 demo runs good but i wonder...
will capcom release a demo like it release for ps3 and xbox360? 07-19-2009, 05:33 AM
If SF4 was any indication; no. Since it is many months away one can only hope that they take the DMC4 rout and possibly release one single map as a demo.
OK another one to try on my comp downloading benchmark and i will show the result ;o.
