1. Texture RB4E08_9397aabc_14.png seems broken in archive /RB4E08 part 3 by hyperspeed.rar/. As result - some trees in dark rainy village (in chapter 2-2) are weird looking.
This file can be deleted from your RB4E08 directory.
2. May be I installed pack incorrectly, not sure, but Leon's name in health bar is still blurry.
I think it's because of missed texture RB4E08_b833f8e5_8. Here is one from PC HI-res pack
Look at comparsion screens - big tree & health bar

Hi Everyone. If I wanted to share my own RE4 HD Texture project, is that possible in this area of the forum? I tried to create a thread, but it seems I don't have the permissions to do so, so I thought I'd ask.
For what it's worth, here is my site for the project: http://www.re4hd.com 02-28-2014, 07:34 PM

Hope once a method is discovered to inject textures into the Steam version you could use those too. 03-05-2014, 08:03 AM

Well, I just bought Resident Evil 4 Ultimate HD edition, and well, I did a comparison between RE4 Wii and RE4 Ultimate HD edition
Would be great if somebody use the Ultimate HD edition textures
May as well post this here since it applies to this pack as well-
I've got 120 texture fixes for the items/treasures in hyperspeed's pack, which fix the horizontal stretching and aspect ratio problems the textures have when viewed in the inventory menu as well as generally cleaning up noise and opaque backgrounds that were left on some of the textures: You can download it here (A few of the fixes were borrowed from fanboy's texture pack thread, which you should also check out): https://mega.co.nz/#!1hc3URwY!WsMQvUjLDW...PhR8UR01To There are also some miscellaneous 3D object fixes included, such as correcting a tree texture that was sideways, erasing Leon's weird neck shadow, and redrawing the warped texture on the bells from the garrador fights. You can see some examples of the glitches corrected as well as some more examples of the fixed treasures below. http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3006/12994...79e5_o.png http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5550/12711...2a0d_o.png http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2543/13140...e596_o.png http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3677/13140...f1b3_o.png With these fixes I think all of the small errors in the hyperspeed and fanboy packs are accounted for, which helps those packs rule even harder. 03-19-2014, 06:48 AM
Is there any possibility to run the game at 60 FPS? With a patch, or, with a Gecko Code.
For example, there are Kingdom hearts patchs/codes for play at 60 FPS instead of 30. Would be great if we could play the game at 60 FPS with HD textures 09-24-2014, 12:05 PM
There's yet another texture overhaul being undertaken for this game, this time for the "Ultimate HD Edition" on Steam. The thing that really makes this one interesting is that it's being done using photos of the original Spanish architecture that inspired Capcom during the original development:
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Bs-j3ovIgAA-EsW.jpg:large https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BroosSAIcAA79U1.jpg:large https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BwIRtrnCEAELJuu.jpg:large It seems unfathomable, but apparently the team working on these textures have found most of the sites Capcom visited in Spain, even down to the most mundane brick walls and iron gates. It's also shocking just how often Capcom directly pasted their tourism photos directly into the game as textures. Many of the textures are being redrawn using new, higher res photos, but the ones being redrawn from scratch are also astoundingly good. I have no idea how they not only managed to make better textures, but also improve the apparent geometry in the process: http://www.re4hd.com/wp-content/gallery/...040501.jpg http://www.re4hd.com/wp-content/gallery/...m/208B.jpg http://www.re4hd.com/wp-content/gallery/...m/204A.jpg These are on the level of "holy shit" good. They're currently working on just the Steam version, but there are some inklings of a possible Dolphin pack. I'm sure there are many people here who would be willing to help port them over (myself included). Their site is definitely worth a visit. It's amazing that this game not only still looks this good today, but still inspires people to keep improving it a decade later. http://www.re4hd.com/ 10-21-2018, 06:38 AM
