Hey hyperspeed, what's funny is that he actually DID post it on MY birthday!!! (9/19) Although I am a fair bit older than you, I already graduated college and was working before you were born. Tongue

By the way thanks Disraelie, I always love a good cheat code. XD

On Chapter 3-1, when plugging in the golden sword Dolphin closes itself with an error, (pro difficulty) this happened 2 times now.
I'll try it again without the HD Textures.

BTW. I made screen comparisons here.

Did anyone notice?

If I didn't miss something, the very latest revision of Dolphin (3.0-139-dirty) both fully plays environment sounds and loads hi-res textures.

Bu-u-u-t, unfortunately it introduces a bug when level textures become corrupted with some kind of confetti or something. Just have a look:

This is NOT because of a bad rip (doesn't happen in older revisions, like 7483) and NOT because of hi-res textures: still happens without them. Bug happens only when you proceed to the next checkpoint by going through the door with green OPEN label and it becomes more and more noticeable as you progress through the level. On first load it's OK.

Somebody should report to devs about success in textures / env. sounds department and inform about confetti. I'm too new here to do it myself :-)

P.s. Are there any ground / walls enhancements in the pack? Ground & walls seem little blurry to me and I can't remember how did they look in PC version with hi-res textures.

You are awesome, this is one of my all time favorite game. LOVE these updates.

I left the dolphin scene a while ago and recently came back. What is this "dirty" version of dolphin and where can I find it?

disraelie, thanks, it worked!

If there aren't any problems later in the game, then it's absolutely perfect now. Just a little slowdown from full FPS when there are many enemies and effects on screen. But just a little. (Core i5 @ 3.1)

El Explosivo, check the front page :-)

Dolphin r3.0-139 has a BIG flaw with the PAL Version of RE4 Wii Edition:

It runs the game in the Wii's 50Hz mode, you don't get 30FPS like the internal "show FPS" says (or Fraps FPS Counter) instead it skips 17% of the original FPS due to 50Hz mode.
You can clearly see FPS difference when turning, also you can see the game starting in 50Hz mode by watching the internal FPS on the first screen (in r3.0-139 it's 50 FPS, in r7483 it's 60 FPS).

This is the second time Dolphin messes up the PAL 480p Mode from Wii, Muramasa PAL version also suffers from it (the original game has 60Hz and 480p mode, Dolphin only displays the 50Hz mode).

None of these links by Hyperspeed work. They are all either passworded, set to private, or just load a blank page. Did anyone back this stuff up?
