I am running the official dolphin emulator from the play store. The game (Resi4) works flawlessly. I do however get a lot of sound crackling. It doesn't matter whether I turn on sound stretching. And the crackling persists even when running the game at 110 percent speed.
Has anyone experienced similar issues ?

Cheers!

Are you certain the game is running full speed. That's the most common cause of crackling. Turning the speed up to 110% won't help it if you're not running full speed, it'll just end up pitched higher but still running out of buffer.

Thanks for your quick response!
It's running at full speed. And the crackling persists no matter the resolution.
Same amount of crackling at 3x resolution and 1x resolution.

Another odd thing I have noticed: in windwaker I get crackling when I press any button of my Bluetooth controller. Has anyone experienced similar issues ?

I have no clue why it'd be crackling unless it wasn't running full speed. The core emulation is the same as on desktop and my phone isn't fast enough to run it full speed, so I can't really tell ya.

It sounds like with Wind Waker maybe you're getting small amounts of slowdown when your phone is busy communicating to bluetooth?

I have reinstalled the emulator and the crackling is gone. Maybe something in the settings got corrupted. If I ever find out what caused it I will post it here.
Cheers!
