I think it not possible do this yet.
This game has just been released.
It is very probable there is no tool for it yet.

Answering the question about extract files from the Playstaton ver.
Well, i can extract something with multi-man, but was useless for me becase the files looks like the same as the wii version the diference are in some folder that i think its for "debug rooms" EX: We have ST01, ST02, ST03, ST04 and ST05 on Wii, each folder of that have the room files, Light data and some area models inside, but in PS3 version i see 3 new ones: ST00, ST06 and ST07 probaly used for tests.
by the way some other guys discover that we can change the language in the swapping a USA save game to the Japanese one.

Also i've confirming that works great but with two problems.

First If you got a save game in japanese version, after change for the american one, your progress will be lost, not the trophies just the game and the extras.
second the BEGINER mode will not exist anymore just normal and professional and the title screen will turn into "Resident evil 4" with a bug in the leader boards title. But be sure that he game turn into english.

BACKUP your game before did those things.... o/

Running 3.0.204

i2500 and an AMD6950

RES 4 runs perfectly without these Hi Res Textures ...
...then when I turn them on it is smooth but hangs for a second or so, every 10 seconds.
It has also crashed a few times during these hangs.

Any ideas? Do I need to provide more info?

While ya'll are on the subject of making RE4 for gamecube hi-res...

You know how the gamecube has a 4:3 display, and RE4 puts those black bars on the top and bottom to produce a "widescreen" image? Using Dolphin's widescreen hack expands the 4:3 image into a nice 16:9 widescreen, but it still has the default black bars (since they are actually part of the video image). Essentially I want a widescreen hack, but in the vertical direction. I want to see what is "behind" the black bars. Think that someone can develop a hack to remove those black bars? This way we can have a superior high-res hack of RE4, since we can see about 30% more of the environment vertically.

I'm trying to contact Hyperspeed, but he is not responding and actively shut out PM and email features. Weird. These were only up for a very short period of time, but I know some people managed to download them. Hopefully one of them will do the right thing and share.
