Blame Qualcomm.

Blame Qualcomm.

It could be a JIT issue. He could also not be running Kit Kat on his device. I mean, we don't have very much RE4 testing data for android so it's hard to dismiss it. Maybe if a shield user could test it out we would know what is Qualcomm BS and what isn't.

Running KitKat has nothing to do with it. It can't be a JIT issue either, as he says that he saw a video of it running on a note 3. Adreno drivers cause a lot of games to blackscreen.

Yeah but we don't know what build the note 3 user was using. Not to mention the note 3 user could easily have been using a Qualcomm device.

The same chipset means nothing. The GPU is the problem here. I know of a channel who posts Dolphin videos from a Note 3; they use a Mali variant.

Use the latest revision of Dolphin, not the one from the playstore. That may help you to at least load.

Enable OpenGL.
