look below, 3.5-1228 is currently the latest.
Resident EVil 2 and 3 sound problems.

Ok I installed 3.5-1228 but during the cut scenes such as the intro to RE 3 the audio is still bad, but during the game audio is fine.
Also when I start dolphin I get these errors. 4:56:15 PM: can't open file 'C:\Users\Josh\Documents\Dolphin-x64/User/Themes/Boomy/open.png' (error 3: the system cannot find the path specified.) 4:56:15 PM: Failed to load image from file "C:\Users\Josh\Documents\Dolphin-x64/User/Themes/Boomy/open.png". 04-13-2013, 09:06 AM
If everything goes according to plan, Dolphin 4.0 will be the next stable release. No exact ETA on when it will be ready afaik.
For the audio, try using OpenAL for the backend and increase the latency if need be. For all of those messages about the themes, download a theme and extract it to the correct folder (look at the errors). Themes can be found here: http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-cus...hin-themes (04-13-2013, 09:06 AM)Shonumi Wrote: If everything goes according to plan, Dolphin 4.0 will be the next stable release. Also tried OpenAL and changing latency but didn't work. 04-13-2013, 10:52 AM
Don't forget to make a "Boomy" folder in the "Theme" folder and to put the theme files there.
Can you be more specific about what does not work about sound in recent revisions? I added boomy folder in the Theme folder and now getting these errors. 02:40:628 Src\FileUtil.cpp:100 W[COMMON]: IsDirectory: stat failed on ./User/Wii/title/00000001/00000002/content/: The system cannot find the path specified. 04-13-2013, 11:25 AM
The sound stutters? Is it very distorted? Does it run too slow? Sorry, it's just that "very bad" doesn't really say a whole lot :p Maybe if you could upload an audio dump or a short video, it would help us understand, but you don't have to.
Anyway, if you can't run the game fullspeed, you will get audio issues in both HLE and LLE audio (there are a few exceptions). Your computer should be able to handle LLE audio for this game; have you tried LLE audio on the latest revision? (04-13-2013, 11:25 AM)Shonumi Wrote: The sound stutters? Is it very distorted? And what about the new errors I am having? 04-13-2013, 08:04 PM
Use HLE.
I downloaded build 1224 yesterday and didn't encounter these errors. are you sure you didn't copy the *user* folder from an earlier build? use a clean build and configure it from scratch. 04-13-2013, 09:49 PM
Those new errors are nothing to worry about, it's just output for Dolphin's log. You should only see that if you run Dolphin from the commandline (it prints to standard output) or if you have the log open in Dolphin itself (go to the View menu and toggle something like Show Log).
