For the details of the textures you used topaz gigapixel to increase by 600% ?.

Download RE2 bg seam fix demo
It contains only 9 cameras in scenario A, before entering the gun shop. The game contains 1257 cameras. Editing them alone will take a long time. Maybe someone knows how to automate this process? I wrote a couple of scripts for photoshop. But each camera needs to be carried out manually through the whole process. 1) The script in Photoshop collects a whole background image of two pictures. 2) Manually upscale the picture. 3) The script in Photoshop saves the image for the web and cuts it into two pictures for dolphin dump texture format. The problem is that, these three steps need to be repeated for each of the 1257 cameras. And if we want to make upscale textures using a new algorithm, then the whole process will have to be done again in order not to get these seams and artifacts around the edges. Not perfect, masks upscale for RE3 completed with errors, but there is no better algorithm yet. Download only if you need it. 02-02-2019, 10:54 PM

I would definitely help if I knew anything about modding these old RE games. Maybe some others are out there, that may be up to the task to help. 02-03-2019, 12:04 AM
The problem is even worse for the mask texture because they are stored as tiles, that's why they look like a grid when upscaled. This guy seems to have created a tool that should work but not sure he would share it : https://twitter.com/MoArtis/status/1015654608947953665

Later I can paint the task on points, what to do. But I still want to figure out how to automate these tasks. Since I wrote earlier, that as soon as a more advanced upscaling algorithm appears, all this work will have to be done again. Not an effective waste of time is obtained. (In any case need to do backgrounds dump again with sorting left and right part of it by separate folders. One folder for one camera. This is necessary to know what parts to assemble in order to obtain the whole background image.) Therefore, it probably does not publish. He also writes that he did not find where in the game are the coordinates of these parts of the mask. I found the program RE2RDTE v0.1b, where you can open RTD files of rooms, borrowed from the PC version. There we see the editor of these masks, you can hover over each part and find out its coordinates. Unfortunately there is no export of the collected mask. But we can save the coordinates of the masks in PRI format. Spoiler: Spoiler: The format of these masks is described here: https://github.com/pmandin/reevengi-tool...mage_masks 02-04-2019, 09:44 PM
Hi. All this great material will work in Android devices?.
Have someone some guide or YouTube videos to see the steeps and what device do you need som as 845 or better to wait the new 855?.its important the memory ram of the phone?. More ram better? Great project if it works in android (02-04-2019, 09:44 PM)pollet Wrote: Hi. All this great material will work in Android devices? Hi. Not yet tested. You can be the first to check everything and tell us about the results in Android) I think it will work if there is support for custom textures. If this option is present there: "Graphics settings -> Advanced -> Load Custom Textures". Update Removed all old RE2 & RE3 files. Now all actual files can be downloaded from these links: Download RE2 [GC] Hi-Res Project Download RE3 [GC] Hi-Res Project RE3 is passed once. Perhaps some secret rooms are missing. I will add the missing textures as they become available.
As far as I know, it only works on Android (more specifically, Android phones that currently are on the market) if you're using PNG textures. The "Load Custom Textures" option exists on Android, but you have to enable it manually in an INI file.

can you post some of your recommended dolphin settings? I have a bunch of graphical issues in RE2 where the seams between squares look really gross, and you don't seem to have any of those problems in your screenshots
