Hello guys,

my first post in the forum.

I am using r6536 version and i am tryin to play re0 but it is too laggy to play. My fps drops to 10 FPS in the very beginning of the game where rebecca appears in the train. FPS even gets worse when encountering first zombies.

My specs aint that bad:

Phenom2 X4 Deneb945 @ 3.45ghz
4GB DDR3
ATi Radeon HD6850 1GB DDR5
Win 7 Home Premium

I have latest DirectX 11 with latest graphic driver.

i have exact settings as this post: http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=3846&highlight=resident

Any suggestion would be appreciated

thanks alot

That's strange, your PC is good, how about r6515 - that's the last one I've tested and the performance was good (23-27 FPS). That is the Wii version of RE0, don't know about GC. And make sure you have the x64 version of Dolphin.

P.S. You shouldn't open a new thread as you have already found my thread. That way it is easier for other users to track RE problems.

try the dx9 plugin due to there some problems with dx11 plugin
and to get a speed boost i suggest that you uncheck audio throttle

Yep, that's most probably the problem. I remember playing the GC version long time ago with rev 3xxx. I think back then it was important to disable idle skipping, don't know if that would help now.

I have tried many newer versions of dolphin with resident evil zero GC NTSC but it resulted in poor fps. The best performance i have using Xtreme2dmax's rev 5152.

I played it at the moment with 6515 with max FPS.Using open CL plugin, lock threads to cores, disable CPU access, copy EFB to texture, audio throttle is disabled.Try exactly with 6515,from las 10-15 builds this have best FPS of games at all.
