Hello!
I am from austria and new in this forum.
Just a few days ago i found the dolphin emulator and wanted to try super mario 1 from the allstars package.

I thougt my two new computers would easily handle the game.

1. PC
Athlon II X2 250 AM3 3000MHz
M4A88TD-M EVO/USB3 Socket AM3 µTX DDR3 AMD880G SB850
ADATA 4GB 2x2GB Kit DDR3 1333MHz CL9
2. PC
AMD Athlon II X4 640, 4x 3.00GHz
MSI 880GM-E43, 880G
Kingston ValueRAM DIMM Kit 4GB PC3-10667U CL9
running Win7 32 Bit

but that isn´t so.
27-30 FPS in Super Mario ...

Now to my first question:
Is the following GPU good enough to play the game at a Framerate like on eg the real wii?
Sapphire Radeon HD 5770, 1024MB GDDR5, 2x DVI, HDMI

Second question:
Is dolphin in near future able to handle with IPG such as i am working with - because super mario is one of the best games but not very complex in graphic

I hope to hear some advices how i can get my game from schooltime run

apologize my weak english - long time ago...
greets
Rene

First answer:
It isn't about GPU, it's about CPU.
The higher the clocking, the better.
Also, it seems that Intel CPUs have better performance with Dolphin.
You GPU should be fine.

Second answer:
I guess IGP means "integrated graphics processor" and I don't think it will.
Maybe it will work with future IGPs, but it probably won't work with the current ones, because these are mostly designed to display something on your screen, so you can work with your PC.
To play games, you need a real GPU.
Coincidence does not exist.
We only believe it does, because we never know what happens beyond our visions and thoughts.

As I said, Intel seems to yield better results when emulating with Dolphin
Intel @ 3GHz > AMD @ 3GHz

If none of the computers you have has an real GPU, then that's the reason for your low FPS
In any other case, you might want to disable some of the features in Dolphin, like AA or play with lower resolution.
