I have found the patch for from Spellforce but I've encountered error's when applying then with Tortoises; not sure if the patch is too old or something.

The menu works just fine here with Open GL, the only problem is the map that is a bit distorted. What graphics card do you have?

I have an nvidia card too. Which settings do you have? Btw download the per game settings file in my sig, extract them in user\gameconfig, overwrite and tell me if the menu shows up.
Below is how the game looks here with open gl using the latest version.

Edit:
Hmm, never mind, i think i have found out what the problem is. Disable pixel depth with Open gl plugin for this game in graphic settings.

Actually. i got it working at last using Spellforce's dolphin 5460 + projection hack for Final Fantasy Fables : Chocobo's Dungeon.
Using Dolphin Direct3D9. It runs smoother than i ever hoped with 30fps.
I've applied the gameCongif on your thread on the latest Dolphin-x64-r6564 with default settings. and the results are good. only thing that seems bugged is the Map.

everything else is ok.
