Thanks bro, im gonna throughly test it, i have lots of games to use it with
AVX gives me 71 frames in main plaza chozo ruins vs 49 frames without avx

ITS A HUGE SPEEDUP

I WAS RIGHT

IF YOU HAVE sandy bridge, you need SP1 NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Skid is getting 71fps in main plaza, chozo ruins without an avx build. Something must have been wrong with the regular builds you were using. What compiler were you using?

so no difference.

like i said, theres a upperbits penalty when mixing AVX and SSE, so you'd either need to remove all hand written SSE and hand write for AVX or don't use AVX.
