Hello. I just built a new PC and figured Dolphin would run pretty nicely on it and sure enough most games run at 100%.

The problem I have is that while games run silky smooth most of the time they get random stuttering (still very playable but is extremely annoying) that lasts for up to about 10 seconds every 20-60 seconds or so (frequency and length seem to depend on the game). When this happens the FPS and VPS are still at maximum and it says 100% speed.

I've tried DirectX9,10 and OpenGL and tinkering with all the graphical settings (in Catalyst Control Center as well) with no luck. Oh and this problem does not appear in PC games; Only in Dolphin.

If anyone has any sort of idea what might be causing this I'd be happy to hear it.

Specs:
Intel i5-2500k @ 4.2GHz
8GB DDR3 1333MHz
AMD Radeon 6950
Win7 64bit

edit: Oh and I forgot to mention I'm using Dolphin 3.0.

Turn on v-sync.

Vsync was one of the first things I tried.

Then I have no idea. Does it happen in all games or just certain ones?

Well, I fixed it by disabling audio throttle and using a framelimit instead. Don't know how I failed to try it until now. Posting this just in case someone has the same problem.
