Please, for the sake of everyone else's sanity, I ask that you stop posting such inane, flamish bullshit.
The man was banned for flaming on a subject without doing any research, and, as far as I've remembered, this forum's had a sort of unspoken policy about flaming idiots (might actually be part of the rules, last read them a month ago, though).
in a perfect world we would all be piles of sand with no ability to form coherent bodies of body

It depends on the set up, If you have a Creative X-Fi Sound Card with Creative ALchemy then DSound will be hardware accelerated and thus sound better. xaudio2 is still an high-latency high level audio API, Windows WASAPI is the better alternative as it's Low Latency and bypasses the Windows audio stack. I use WASAPI Exclusive in PCSX2 sound quality is better with my Surround Sounds with Rama's SPU2-X Portaudio module. 06-04-2014, 03:04 PM

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but most people these days have a 64bit operating system, so why not remove Dolphin support for 32bit Windows in exchange for fully 64bit code? What I think about OP: "I love Dolphin, and run it without issues on my new Win8 x64 OS, and all games run flawlessly fine.... but I feel so void, why not complain about something, even if it doesn't affect me at all." Why people feel so annoyed with things that don't affect them at all? I would understand some technical decisions as reported through the thread by some very technical guys, but this OP? it's simply flaming. Live and let live, I use both XP and 7 and will ever support development for XP whenever it lets itself, because it's such a legend OS. Simply don't listen to people calling for attention, my opinion. |
