I have just migrated from stock ROM to running this on full android nougat (zulu99). I have tried running this emulator and everything works as expected apart from I have button overlay in the corner and obviously I'm using shield TV with controller so I don't want any buttons on screen at all but I can't seem to find an option to remove the overlay - is there any code I could remove or change so the buttons are gone from the screen?

Can you show us a screenshot of the game list please? So we can see which UI you are using.

I take it you are no longer using the Android TV UI, and just using regular Android?

I'm not sure how to do this with a controller, but on the regular Android UI, you address this by running a game, swiping from the top to expose the menu, tapping ..., then going to Configure Controls>Toggle Controls, then in the pop up that appears, press "Toggle All".

Ahhh, so you are just using the regular Android UI.

I'm not sure how to do this on a controller, but on Dolphin's Android UI, you can solve this by running a game, swiping down to bring up the menu bar, then pressing the ... button, tapping Configure Controls>Toggle Controls, and pressing "Toggle All". Doing that will make all of the on screen buttons disappear!
