Question
Yo guys, just registered for a quick question:
I've been using Dolphin without any problems for while, but wanna try to remap some of my Gamecube Controller buttons now.

I'm using an official Nintendo Gamecube controller with their official adapter listed as "Standard Controller" in Dolphin with the "Direct Connect" option.
Specifically, I want to switch the functionality of the z and x buttons.

Is there any way to do this? As Dolphin doesn't seem to give me the option in the controller settings by default.

best wishes,
dntsy

Um, you should move to a newer version of Dolphin. It no longer works that way.

Anyway, when using the direct connection through a gamecube adapter, there is no way to remind the controls. Native works exactly as it would on a wii - including the lack of rebinding.

Oh, gonna do that right away Tongue

I suppose it's not possible to connect the gc controller some other way to remap the buttons then?

Thanks anyways Smile

You can use vJoy to connect it as a generic controller, but it's less accurate and introduces input latency.
