Recover MemoryCardA.raw

Hi all, so i was getting some heavy FPS issues with dolphin 3.5, so i decided it was time to update, upside is that dolphin 4.0 is amazing, literally all of my backups run at 60 fps and it fixed all of my previous concerns (3.5-269 was relying on 2 of my cores instead of all 4 and not really using my gpu at all), downside is I extracted 4.0 directly where 3.5 was, and it kinda deleted all of my saves on everything. I don't think i'd be the first that this would happen to, so i was hoping someone could tell me where my old MemoryCardA.raw went to after i extracted 4.0, and if i can still recover it. i have not yet restarted my pc since extracting, so i'm hopeful its in a temp folder somewhere since it wasn't in my recycle bin.

TLDR; Where does the MemoryCardA.raw go if i extracted 4.0 on top of 3.5?

Your memory card should probably be where it was, it is just that dolphin 4.0 looks for it elsewhere since it uses a global directory for settings, see this guide:
