Whats the recommended hardware for wii games? Is a good CPU with good single threading recommended such as a Intel-4790k or does it rely more on the multiple cores such as a AMD-8350? How much ram is recommended to run a game at a playable speed? Is it very dependent on your GPU? Thanks in advance, I know I asked some pretty specific questions. Thanks again.

2. You can run Dolphin fine with 4GB of RAM.

i7 or later generation i5 CPU's are what you need to run Dolphin. Avoid AMD processors, Dolphin utilizes 2 cores (possibly 3 w/ certain settings), no more. Intel has superior single-thread performance and therefore runs Dolphin better. 4-6GB is fine, 8GB if you want to run anything in the background. GPU isn't a huge issue unless you run high res.
Arch
Intel Core i7 - 4510U
iHD4400
8GB RAM

You can't go wrong with the 4790K, trust me. I won't be upgrading my system any time soon unless the next generation CPUs are at least 50% to 100% faster IPC. That means I will be skipping Skylake unless it's super amazing.

However, I may upgrade to a bigger SSD drive and next-gen GPU.
