Recent config for Wind waker

Hi I'm new here and so glad I found all you Nintendoites!
I don't know if this is the right section to ask these questions but I'm sure I will be be told( ) but here go's.
Is there a typical config and version of Dolphin I should have overall for this program?
I'm struggling to get any game working. I cant get my pad to work as a Wii mote to play skyward sword and I can't get Wind waker to get past the movie screen it just go's black after.
I'd appreciate any help with this as I'm going round in circles literally lol!

You can't use ancient builds and expect support, please go to http://dolphin-emu.org and download a more recent build.

I do have the most recent build. I think what had happened was I copied over someone's Wii mote config ( which didn't work) and it changed the whole thing as I copied all his files from the dolphin Folder over to mine.

Then fix it. 4.0.2 and newer are not only supported on this forum, but they also have GameINIs that will have most of the necessary settings pre-set. I recommend the latest dev version since DSP HLE has been improved and the DSPLLE requirement in the gameini has been removed. It'll be faster.

Woops I failed to put that in the message body. I have changed my version and edited it in my profile too!
Btw I would be using a ps3 joypad or ps4 to play Skyward sword so if you have the config for that I'd be forever thankful.
Installing the new version seems to have sorted out Windwaker so I'm only having problems with Skyward Sword now.
I cant even get past the screen that you have to type your name in at the beginning as the motion on my right stick is all over the place.
Anyhoo...
