OK, so for the last couple of days I have been working on getting my 4 Wiimotes working. 3 are original wiimotes (or so I thought...1 turned out to be a counterfeit >
) and 1 is a new wiimote plus. So after pouring through all the guides for connecting them and stuff I have finally got them almost how I want them. I get them to to connect and can even auto pair and have them auto-connect just by pressing the B button on them. The 1 weird issue I have is my wiimote plus will never connect to dolphin if it is the 1st remote activated. IE If I press the B button on my Wiimote plus...it blinks for 5 seconds and goes back off....if I press the B button on one of my regular Wiimotes...it connects as player 1 THEN I press the B button on my wiimote plus it will auto connect as player 2 (or 3 or 4).
I have found that I can get around this by connecting a regular wiimote...then connecting my wiimote plus (as player 2) then powering off the 1st wiimote and powering the wiimote plus off and back on again (it will then register as player 1 but ONLY if I do all this and keep Dolphin running while I do it.
Anyone else run into this and has anyone found a fix for this? While I am glad to have a work around, my OCD won't let me get past this until its fixed.
P.S. The 1 counterfeit wiimote wont connect to my Bluetooth at all so I guess I have to relegate that one to the utility wii console for use in slowly ripping my Wii disc collection.
