Real wiimote not working

Hi! I started using dolphin a few days ago and just had my forum account. I'm having a problem playing Wii Sports. At the start it wants me to press A and B which I can't because the wiimote isnt working. Don't get me wrong the controller is fine and has no problems. But when I try to use it in the game, It just doesn't work. I tried re-syncing and all of those stuff but couldn't get it to work.
