This is my first time trying Dolphin. I tried Skyward Sword and SMG2 and both games seem to run great, but my wiimote cursor is like 1 second behind my movements.

I'm using a really cheap wireless IR sensor bar and bluetooth dongle I got from ebay (they were like $2 each). Not sure if that is the culprit. I believe my PC specs are sufficient to run at any settings, correct?

For Skyward Sword it's ok, but for SMG2 your processor is a bit weak. An i5 3570k OC to 4.2 or an i5 4670k is recommended if you want fullspeed with SMG2.

However, your issue with wiimote probably are solved in the latest development version (currently at 3.5-1688). You can get it in the official website: https://dolphin-emu.org/download/
If you still get latency with Wiimote, you can try turning off "Enable speaker data" option. Then, if everything fails, your BT dongle maybe the issue...

Well damn. I assumed even the cheapest dongle would be ok. Thanks.

Would you be able to link me to an example of the cheapest suitable dongle?

Where do you live? According to your local time I'll say Australia maybe?

Here is mine but not sure it's distributed outside of Europe.
Anyway it will give you an idea of cheap BT adapters that work just fine

Canada, was too lazy to change my time, haha.

Thanks. Anything from Newegg should work fine then.
