I'm trying to play SSBB vanilla on my wii remote with no nunchuk and sometimes when I move the d-pad left to go forward I jump instead.

This is incredibly frustrating.

I'm using a legit RVL-036 Wii remote with motion plus built in and a dolphinbar as the blutooth.

I'm using the latest development version of dolphin.

you're probably accidentally pressing the "up" button instead and/or have it mapped incorrectly

I see no option for that in the controller settings.

@NKF98 I'm using the real wiimote setting on dolphin, I cannot map anything.

And no I am not accidentally pressing up on the d-pad.

Oh sorry, I thought you were using an emulated wiimote.

There hasn't been any changes to the real wiimote code that could break anything so... either there is something wrong with your wii remote, or you are accidentally pressing up instead of left. *shrug*

Since that you said there's no nunchuk attached to the "Real Wiimote", and you said like 'left d-pad = jump' in SSBB, that's what it's like to have Nunchuck still on.

Possible culprit is that the nunchuck is still "on" because thanks to the "Hybrid Wiimote" mode where it's possible to use the real Wii Remote while having emulated extensions "attached" to it.

Use "Real Wiimote" or disable any extension in the settings for "Hybrid Wiimote".
