Real wiimote and DSP LLE causing slowdowns?

I'm thinking about 4 games right now, that haven't been running at top speed the whole time.

One is Shadow Tower. It worked fine when I had to play with just keyboard and mouse, but I saw some fps drops while playing with a real wiimote, and the wiimote's pointer response seemed a bit slow.

Another one is Epic Mickey. It's a strange game, it tends to show glitches at random times in the videos when it's first loaded, and it got some strong slowdowns when in open places. I'm not sure WHY the slowdown started happening, but it worked fine speed-wise in some recent revisions of 2.0.

And finally, Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2. I was already told that DSP LLE plugin makes games run slower, but also, I was told in another thread that with my pc specs, I should be able to run nearly any game at full speed. [i7 3.07GHz, 8gb ram, XFX radeon HD 6850 black edition]

What can I do to speed up these games or dolphin itself?

ps: already trying to run dolphin on minimum graphic configs... No antialiasing, no upscaling, only config I tend to change is fit to window/4:3/16:9...]

Wait, seriously?
I bought these parts just a few months ago, and already I receive an overclock advice?

edit: alright, I know Dolphin needs more of the processor power than graphics card... But an overclock~ D:

It has been like this for years, even when Sandy Bridge just came out, people had to overclock to get fullspeed Big Grin

Well, thanky. I'll look for an overclock tutorial later. Checking exact versions of everything and stuff like that. It still feels like overkill for everything else, tho.

It's only if you're using LLE. Your system is fine IF YOU DON'T USE LLE. LLE is extremely demanding and always will be, which is why overclocking is necessary to attain decent performance with it on current hardware.

Just deal with it.
My Sandybridge i7 2600K still get occasional frame drops with LLE but I'm totally fine with it.

Dolphin working at 100% full speed is something I can see next year with Ivy bridge or the coming few years forward.

You only need the use LLE during the boss levels. Any other stages, use HLE.
Windows 10 x64
Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3Ghz OC'd to 4.1Ghz
Corsair XMS3 8GB DDR3 1600 RAM
Radeon HD 6850
