Hey, I'm relatively new to dolphin, but it works amazingly well with games that don't require the Wii remote. I've been trying to get Skyward sword running well on my Dolphin 4.0. I have the sensor bar set up below, and IR only in the middle, my bluetooth dongle is in the front of my system, and there appears to be no poor connection, but when I boot up a game that requires the Wii remote, the button inputs are flawless, but the pointer is usually slow/sluggish in response, and usually several inches below where I am pointing, I've tried many sensor bar positions but it would seem the emulator thinks my sensor bar is the center of the screen... I don't know how to change or fix this. any advice or ideas would be appreciated. Feel free to ask me for more info, I'd be happy to oblige!

Hardware-

Wireless ultra sensor bar (From Best buy)
Broadcom 20720 Bluetooth 4.0 adapter
Official wii remote (No M+)
Motionplus Attachment
official Nunchuck

Thanks,
Drew

Have you set the sensor bar position in wiimote settings (top or bottom of the screen)? Also you need to have a distance of 1,5 meters approximately from the screen.

I have, It's set to bottom and the sensor bar is about two inches below the monitor I'm trying to run the games on.

It's never exactly precise. The wiimote was never designed to be "point exactly and it be there exactly". It's always going to be a little off. And that's fine. Just imagine it like a mouse where you move and the pointer moves and relative positions don't matter.

Also, Skyward Sword uses the Wii MotionPlus for pointing, and just uses the sensor bar for calibration. You can recenter it at any time by pointing at the middle of the screen and pressing down on the dpad.

Okay, there seems to be one more issue, on menu screens it doesn't seem to want to go all the way to the left or right, no matter how far I move the wii remote, or center it, and if I move the wii remote too far to the left or right when dowsing it awkwardly keeps moving that way and ignores my input for several seconds. is that also normal?

Everything works fine here with Real Wiimotes, sounds like you're having hardware problems.
