Astral chain was amazing, and dear god when I played Bayonetta 1 and 2 for the first time I was utter garbage at it but I loved those games so much I played through them several times and eventually got a complete pure platinum rank on both. Fun gameplay can go a long way but I agree, being able to grasp a game on a single play through because it's inherently well designed and made for that is always excellent. Only other game similar to Bayonetta and it's style that made me do that was Sekiro last March.
