Does anyone know any decent app for editing images that isn't Photoshop? just need to do simple things like text overlay with graphics or merging photos and whatnot.

I usually use Paint.NET, and when that doesn't have the feature I'm trying to use, I fall back to GIMP.
OS: Windows 10 64 bit Professional
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5900X RAM: 48GB GPU: Radeon 7800 XT 04-21-2017, 07:03 AM
Those speeds... so nice...

Rig 2: Windows 10 Pro | Intel Core i7-2640M @ 780/2800/3500 MHz | Intel HD 3000 Mobile | 8GB RAM | Dell Latitude 6320.

If you can't get Photoshop, GIMP is almost definitely the next best option.

That New Nintendo 2DS XL looks really cool from a style and design point of view, but idk if it'll convince me to ditch 3D

If I were Nintendo I would stop with this whole "XL" thing. The standard 2DS/3DS screens already have a fairly low pixel density, making the screens bigger while maintaining the same resolution just make things worse. With that said, considering all released "models" vs their features, if someday I end buying a 3DS, it certainly will be the regular new Nintendo 3DS...
Avell A70 MOB: Core i7-11800H, GeForce RTX 3060, 32 GB DDR4-3200, Windows 11 (Insider Preview)

I own a regular launch 3DS + 2DS and an XL (not "New" but same difference when it comes to the screen) but I use the XL for everything. Some games are pretty bad (Tales of the Abyss is pretty unplayable for me on the XL, although its graphics have resolution issues even on non-XL systems). In my experience, those are probably in the minority. I think you'll get your wish soon. We won't likely see anymore "XL" models since the 3DS is going to be retired. That's just the eventuality with the Switch released. I'm going to bet that we won't see "XL" Switch models because going any bigger might affect how portable the system is. The New 2DS XL or whatever Nintendo just announced is the last hurrah for the 3DS line, and likely the last "XL" type of thing we'll see from Nintendo in terms of pumping up the physical screen size. 05-10-2017, 10:49 AM
I assume all of the regulars here know the GPL and all its implications off by heart. To what extent does this: https://github.com/marlam/qvr/ mitigate the issues of the GPL not being compatible with any high-end VR stuff without modification?
