Good to see you again. Things have been looking up for you though, right? Just letting you know that you're still one of us, so we care about you

It's been a rollercoaster. Making progress albeit slow. I'm more self-aware, have insight of my faults and what I need to work on. Taking responsibility over my life and working on my self-growth. Feeling more confident tho insecure at times. Have a lot of women attracted to me but not enough confidence and conversational skills for it to go anywhere. Got my car registered etc.. so I've been driving, getting myself out more, meeting new people and interacting. Soon to be taking over the house and doing home repairs and seeking employment. I've been so stressed out and a lot on my mind I've lost interest in emulation and gaming. Real life hits you hard when you least expect it. Losing my dad has forced me to step up to the plate. 02-08-2017, 08:31 AM
Great. Slow progress is still progress. The most important thing is prioritizing on your life more than anything else. I've been focusing on reality as well. I've socializing more as a result and passing my exams which made me feel optimistic towards my life.
As for your case, you'll get the confidence soon enough. Keep working hard as always, you'll get there. As for that speech I mentioned a few days ago, it turned out to be perfect . 02-10-2017, 05:39 AM
So apparently there's still development going on of Dolphin VR?

I'll be the wet blanket and say that I don't really get the VR hype in general.

Have you actually tried a high end VR system?

I don't know how I'd hold up for long periods of play, but for the 5 minutes I had with it....it was pretty frickin' awesome. The only thing holding me back from jumping into VR gaming is the limited selection of games and the price. Hopefully, this isn't a fad...or if it is, then I hope VR is a precursor to something better. 02-10-2017, 04:50 PM
I have the unpopular opinion that you shouldn't really unveil something to the public until it's very polished. For example, though I appreciate a lot of N64 games for their novel ideas and excellent gameplay, I don't think 3D games were really graphically acceptable until Gamecube, or very late N64 at best. A lot of people will defend them out of nostalgia, but some of those games looked ugly as hell; even Mario 64 looked really bad sometimes.
