Missed Nintendo, but it looks like I didn't miss anything except for a release date for Xenoblade X. Watching SE now. Hopefully something good comes out of this. I guess not lol.

about the backwards compatibility on the xbone, i believe they're just going to do a bunch of game-specific speedhacks and release the games one at a time. plus, you don't have to buy them again, you can just re-download on the xbox one. all of the games i'm going to want to play are fairly popular so they should all be part of the backwards compatibility movement (dark souls, skyrim, BO2, shadow of mordor, dishonored)
Who else is excited for Dishonored 2?? I've been waiting for this for so long...

Nintendo have been hiring way too many market/PR geniuses lately, who have figured that slapping the Metroid name on some mediocre looking coop mission shooter will somehow help it's sales more than it kills the Metroid name.

xbone backwards compatibility is definitely not full emulation. They wouldn't need you to download stuff from the internet to play your game if it was.

Maybe it's speed hacks/emulation profiles, or pieces of pre recompiled code, IDK. At least you can go offline after downloading some random stuff first time you boot a game...

This new MP game basically looks like Hunters with higher resolution, better frame rate, and a few more polygons here and there. So, that is to say, it looks pretty bad given it's for the 3DS. Please say it's a prototype :/ I don't care if it's kinda... cartoonish, just make it look nice... BUT, I am totally excited for the new M&L game! Finally, something to wash the aftertaste of badness that was Sticker Star. Bleh... 06-17-2015, 10:23 PM
Any spin-off of Metroid Prime is a big no for me....especially on a current generation hardware. I agree it does look cartoonish, but this looks like they are trying to advertise the 3DS so much that they go at all cost to get there. They need to get it together with Metroid seriously though.
