I bet there's alot of C++ mumbo jumbo going on there that I don't know about. I once took a programming class back in college, found it boring. Now I see what I'm missing out.

^ 3DS emulator or homebrew backup loader? Cool I guess since it was initially speculated the 3DS encryption might remain unbroken. Ah.. if only developers could make completely secure unbreakable code.
Btw sick kitty doing better and his health hasn't deteriated any. He is eating and drinking, has more energy now that before. His eyes are still red, watery and he has trouble keeping them open. He night have ended up dying by now if I didn't bring him in. By now if it was poisoning or rabies there's no doubt he wouldn't be doing what he is doing such as walking around fine, running a bit, eating, drinking, urinating fine and grooming himself. I guess he was in that fight, was sore and needed some time to heal? I'll still see about getting him and my cat to a vet for a checkup. My big black cat has came down with watery red eyes and has been sleeping a bit. He also seems to suddenly be aggressive and pinning down other cats but it's mostly one outdoor cat coming by he keeps going after, he is an unfixed male so it may just be a territorial and dominance thing.
I'm glad he's feeling better.
But um, unfixable? That doesn't seem right... it's a relatively simple procedure. Intel Xeon w7-3465X OC | Asus Pro WS W790-E Sage SE | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 FE | 8x16GiB G-Skill Zeta R5 DDR5-6000 | Windows 11 23H2 | (details)

^ Lol he hasn't been neutered yet and gonads are still in tact. I have a vet appointment set up for the sickly cat on Thursday. Since others are exhibiting similar symptoms it should make it cheaper to treat them. I'm just hoping it's nothing serious and he can make a full recovery.

^ I realize that but near the beginning for a while after the 3DS was released it was speculated the encryption would never be broken and if it was it could take years like over five or ten years. I'm going by what someone referred to as Psyman @Ngemu that used to be a part of the NullDC project speculated a while back as well as others in the emulation and homebrew scene.

Well you basically already pointed out what was wrong with that speculation to begin with: it was near the beginning When people were throwing around "5 years, 10 years", no one knew enough to say accurately what was going to happen. But since the GBA (when I got into emulation at least) Nintendo's systems historically seem to be some of the first consoles to get emulated in some form or another, usually within the hardware's commercial lifetime. I was expecting the same this generation. Maybe Nintendo just has that allure for emulator programmers. I mean, I get the chills just thinking about taking on the DS myself sometime next year :p |
