Super Mario 64 DS can be controlled from either the D-pad + Y button, or the touch screen. Is it possible to (a) implement a virtual analog stick with configurable position and radius, using a host real analog stick, or (b) modify the game to take analog inputs from a specific piece of memory, and have the emulator feed analog stick data into the memory location (like a cheat code)? That alone, along with the upres, would make it superior to the original in every way.

It'd be possible to hack Desmume to just accept analog input from a joystick and translate that as touch screen input to achieve the same effect. You'd just have to calibrate the input and output so you don't go flying or something stupid.
But that's boring. 3D first! 01-02-2015, 03:47 PM

He seemed out of it and lethargic, he kept his eyes closed up and kept licking the inside of his mouth, crying and growling at anyone or anything that got near. Today his situation deteriorated further and he was still very lethargic but essentially lifeless and unresponsive taking short quick breaths. That... sounds like rat poison.... It's too fast and too severe for any virus. I don't think there is anything that can be done for the poor thing. It might survive it assuming he has the money to let the kitty get a blood transfusion and several Vitamin K shots. 01-03-2015, 03:34 PM

Today his situation deteriorated further and he was still very lethargic but essentially lifeless and unresponsive taking short quick breaths. I was afraid of that or rabies. However it's been past a few days and he is still alive, my understanding is he would've been dead by now. He definitely wouldn't be walking around, eating or drinking anything. He isn't having any spasms, blood in stool, he walks fairly normal and is grooming himself. He just seems very weak and lethargic and perhaps a bit sore. The night before he showed up sickly there was a cat fight near my place I went out and broke up, I think he may have been one of the cats in the fight. Besides that a little over a week or two ago there was a dead mouse I saw him pawing around and flipping in the air that he ate. I dunno but he may pull through and I have him inside caring for him. I sadly do not have any money until next week and have two kittens scheduled for a neuter and shots. Being that we just had a holiday and I'm without money to next week I hope he can hold it together until I can schedule a vet visit for him and take him in. I snapped some pics of my kitty crew. My parents have a cat that looks like this one. They are either half or full brothers, my parents cat was named Loki so I named him Thor. He's had either a cold, respiratory infection and looked as he was becoming pneumatic. With some TLC, wiping his nose off to clear discharge, small doses of antibiotics in soft food he is doing quite a bit better now. I will be taking him into the vet for a checkup just to be safe. He was formerly feral but has become quite trusting and friendly. This is Oreo. He was also formerly feral and socialized by me. He has become quite the friendly and affectionate little bugger. I've woken up a few times to find him snuggled by my feet on my bed. He will trill and cry at me, throw himself on down and roll around for me to pet him <3 He is either the half or full brother of my own cat I've had almost a year now, he is a polydactyl meaning he has some extra toes on his front paws just like my cat does. The larger cat is my cat Paully, the polydactyl cat and the smaller kitten lying in the pan is another feral I've been caring for that I named Baby. My cat Midnight. He was a stray that was abandoned by his owners as a kitten. I guess they got two kittens because they had kids then didn't want to keep them or take care of them. He was given to someone else that also abandoned him. Him and his brother found a home with me and I adopted them (or was it the other way around? ) and I was taken care of them. His brother (not pictured) came up missing near the end of October, no evidence that anything happened to him nor does anyone know what happened to him. His brother just vanished in the span of a couple hours, went searching for him but found nothing. Midnight is a very thankful and loving boy. He wants constant cuddles, to sleep with or on me, kneads me and grooms my face lol. Cats eating their dinner consisting of soft canned food they get as a treat every so often. All cats there except two were in the previous pictures. The black and white left most kitten, grey and white right most kitten are two other ferals I've been taking care of and working on socializing. Only two kittens Oreo and Thor have been near completely socialized. The other kittens while more comfortable are still skittish and untrusting and not privy yet to human contact. The cat with the red box around it is the kitten I referred to that came up sick. That was taken when he was in better health. A better picture of my cat Paully. Sorry for the long ass post. 01-03-2015, 03:52 PM
Well thought I should also mention if he was poisoned he shows no signs of kidney failure. He seems to be urinating properly and just urinated a considerable amount. Too bad he is not litter trained and went in the worst possible place - on my couch. Good thing I put garbage bags over the cushions for this very reason.
Been busy as hell. Between cleaning and trying to keep the place clean, the holidays and caring for cats including sick cats. I'm active and no longer eating as much, not eating like I used to when bored. I'm eating less at one time when I eat and get full off of lesser amounts than I used to. According to my parents scale it seems I dropped at least another three to six lbs. I think stopping my medication helped get my appetite under control, too bad I can't shake the overwhelming anxiety and social anxiety, panic attacks and night terrors. Been exhausted and not sleeping well, either I have trouble falling asleep or staying asleep or can't get enough sleep. I wake up every morning with a terrible backache. 01-04-2015, 03:53 AM

It's been four or five days now and that kitten is still alive. He's eating, drinking, urinating and walking around fine. As I said I think another stray cat picked a fight with him and he got injured. He's just lethargic and weak, mostly sleeping. He actually ran out of my spare bedroom for some cat snacks. If that was him in the fight I wonder how long it will take for him to recover. He doesn't have any open wounds but does appear to be a bit sore. I've been wiping around his eyes, nose and mouth with a damp luke warm cloth.
If he was poisoned or showing symptoms of rabies I don't think he would still be alive now. Edit: I think he could have gotten an infection which administration of small doses of antibiotics should do the trick. We've noticed cats and kittens developing abscesses due to cat scratches. If he was in a fight he could have got infected, developed a fever and the symptoms mentioned. There are more reasons to stay away from reddit than just their immaturity/incivility towards transgendered people. It's been on my "internet places to avoid" for a long time.
