WLAN got a lot better lately.
Obviously nothing beats a wired connection, but if you use a AC 5Ghz Router, you really can't tell a difference from Wired connections. (Unless it's one of those cheap 433mbit/s things that don't have support for DFS and such).

Also, most people don't want to ruin their house insulation, or whatever you call it. If the house is properly insulated, you certainly don't want to ruin your insulation for internet.

Problem: my CD drive has decided that, while I'm booted into windows, it will instantly close itself whenever I try to eject it, and only actually open on random. Only while in Windows.

Solution thus far: nothing. I cannot afford to get a USB stick, and have no way of forcing it open. I just have to wait for the random open

Try reinstalling drivers for it?

No drivers, it's a CD drive.

I found a sort-of-solution to the problem, I hit the button to turn it on to eject, it fails, I try ejecting again while it is still on by holding the button, it has a significantly higher chance of coming out.

Smash Bros 3DS, less than 24 hours away for me Big Grin

Gonna be a long weekend. I finally have a reason to reclaim my 3DS from my sister too.

Just got mail it's available here as well. Got no 3DS so I'll be waiting for the Wii U version which has a placeholder? (21-11-2014) date at the shop.

It's a BR reader/burner on a laptop. It seems to be SCSI Ultra-640.
I tried looking up difference between SCSI, SATA, and IDE, but they all seem to be similar in terms of what they can accomplish.
What don't you like about SCSI?
