I saw many people bought Xiaomi MI Pad (Tegra K1 Quad Core x86) to play GC games via Dolphin despite being a Chinese brand
I wonder if they know this : http://www.wantchinatimes.com/news-subcl...7&cid=1103 Their products contain spyware that will steal your bank account , your info Should I post this on Android forum to prevent people from getting that crap ? NFC on by default? Poor decision.
The mere existence of NFC? Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, S3, and many others have it, so don't make it look like a big deal. Built-in spyware in the OS that uses NFC is not the same thing as NFC. If it exists (if), it's not a good thing. Best off just installing a custom ROM when you get the chance, but then again... At some point, Samsung phones came with a file-stealing backdoor for government agencies and Samsung. Other Chinese phones (not this brand) came with built-in malware to steal credit card info, make premium calls, etc. Custom ROMs, we must trust them to not bundle malware. Can we trust them? Should we? The amount of openness they put into how the ROM is made, for example what kernel, apps, what patches are applied, is a factor. They may try to sneak in backdoors in a way that makes it not immediately obvious. http://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments...d_privacy/ Bottom line, nobody can be trusted completely. Even U.S. corporations are possibly vulnerable to government backdoors. Chinese corporations are vulnerable to criminal backdoors. Custom ROMS can be malicious as well. The most famous custom ROMs, you can probably trust mostly, because they are well-known and (hopefully) open-source, and are less likely to add malware due to their reputation. 07-25-2014, 03:39 AM
It also contain trojan Uupay.D that acts as the Google Play store and will harvest your personal information as personal data can be copied without any restrictions and conversations made on the smartphone can be overheard

Your credit card emits NFC information and their Android distribution includes an NFC tag reader. There is no spyware, no stealing or anything like that mentioned here. Install any NFC tag reader on your phone and you'll have the same behavior. 07-25-2014, 03:52 AM
That's the only article I could found in English
The article that I read is written in Japanese , no way I could post that one here Laptop: Youtube Channel (Vintage Tech/Watches) :: 07-25-2014, 04:52 AM
I made another MIDI. It turned out better than my Rainbow Road one.
Actually, I made some changes to the Rainbow Road MIDI to make the audio tracks more balanced, making it sounds signicantly better overall. Should I record a new video or just update the old download link? |
