I'm really surprised at how far Dolphin has came..
Got my system running with my first gen i7 again and am getting 60fps in Super Mario Galaxy 1/2 with stock clock using the performance options in Dolphin sans IR which is set to Auto (Multiple of 640x528) and AF @ 16x. Several other games are full speed, before my board failed I recall Dolphin being slightly slower plus the HLE fixes make eliminate/reduce the requirement of using LLE for audio. I suppose this means I won't have to worry about overclocking much or if I do I won't have to bump up the stock clock by much for decent performance across the board.
I'm wondering if we'll get galop1n's changes merged into master soon along with the remainder of HLE issues such as volume issues and incorrectly pitched sounds such as the Wind Waker magic meter fixed. Speaking of HLE audio is anyone still working on that or is it going to take years to fix the remainder of issues like with looping bgm in Zelda Ucode games?
