Fwiw, I have TAB setup to go into Turbo in a number of emulators (including my own GB emulator). It's not really that I play Dolphin a lot (no time! Must code things).

You don't need a mouse when you use a Macbook. The multitouch glass trackpad is better than any mouse.

I honestly agree, Apple's trackpads are better than the *average* mouse (as well as literally every other trackpad ever). Not better than a respectable gaming mouse, but most people outside of the PC gaming world don't have those.

I've been tuning in to TwitchPlaysPokemon all week and I've gotta say it's a really cool experiment. Just takes too damn long.

Last time I checked, the hive-mind (we-us-them-everyone) had 4 badges. That's impressive imo, given how chaotic the internet at large is underneath it all. Also the hive-mind has at least 6 Pokemon as well; I wonder how that happened. Yesterday, they were stuck in that Team Rocket facility, the one with all of those plates that spin you around and each segment is like a puzzle, and one false move screws your progress up, basically. That'll be interesting to see if they get through it (have they already?) One thing that struck me the other day is that technically, there has to be some latency for some "players", with others having more than the rest, which actually gives you a pretty neat dynamic. Some of the moves people input might not be trolling, just people reacting to video that's actually behind, even if it's just half a second or less. Though I have to say, all those people inputting "START" are just being silly. Like every 5-6 seconds, someone opens the start menu :p |
