The top 3 things people need to stop saying while online:
1) Epic
Everything is always epic. You're epic, I'm epic, everything is epic. In reality, nothing you're doing or talking about it epic. Stop overusing the word "epic". People don't talk like that in the real world, so cut it out. If you truly want to be epic, stop saying "epic".
2) Wait, what
What is this ridiculousness? You tell people to wait and then say what? This is supposed to mean that you're confused about something or that you're not sure? Find a better way to get that point across. "wait, what" is just something to say for the sake of saying it. It's a waste of time and is not a genuine thing to say, so please stop it.
3) LOL
"LOL" doesn't really mean what it's supposed to mean anymore. What this actually means is that you can't find anything worthwhile to say. It could also mean that you're silly, childish or not very bright. The only people I know of who use "LOL" regularly is 12-year-old's who giggling with their friends while texting. Do you want to be seen this way? Stop it!
I was talking with some people over the weekend and these were some of the things that they were saying. It kind of made me think about why I was even there talking to these people at all, and eventually I had to leave to keep my sanity. So yeah, I thought I'd have a little fun with this, but this is all still true.
Do you find that these are the types of things that the people around you are saying? Is it okay with you when people talk like this? What is your perception of the person when you see them talking like this? Is it good, bad or normal?
