I suppose. It's not really that big of a deal.

I thought that was the purpose of WiFi channels: to reduce the interference of other devices running at/around 2.4GHz? Nearly every house in my neighborhood has it's own wifi network (you literally have to walk near the woods not to pick up one) and many of them overlap mine (and sometimes have a stronger signal, wtf Comcast). Only ones with weak signals seem to use the same channel, and I haven't noticed any problems.

There's only 3 channels that don't overlap.

Wikipedia Wrote:Leaving 3 or 4 channels clear between used channels is recommended to avoid interference.

It shouldn't matter a great deal if you are or aren't using the one of the channels 1, 6 and 11, as long as you have enough space between channels that are used. Additionally, Britons have more wiggle room since they can use channels 12 and 13 without any conditions. In a single home, it shouldn't be too hard to space the channels out appropriately, especially if the range on some of the routers are as bad as AON3 hints.

Another issue with my house's wifi is that because British houses are always brick and concrete (instead of the flimsy wooden huts which occur in much of the US), and these are heavy, when you have building work done, Building Regulations says you're supposed to use huge steel girders to hold up anything which used to have a wall underneath. Because of this, there's now a massive 11" square steel bar holding up the floor in half the house, as well as many other smaller ones. They seem to have been placed strategically to mess up 2.4 GHz radiation passing between where wired internet cables come out of the walls and where people are likely to be.

Yeah, the Microsoft conference was pretty... good actually. Lots of games.

The Witcher 3 looked really good. Both MGSV and this are games I honestly can't wait for to play.

Geralt is finally back!

More gifs on my minus account.

PS: The XBone BF4 gameplay was pretty messy. It's quite a different thing when the audio messes up and you actually hear the crowd.
