You'll also have to continuously rewrite your variables a hundred times, which will eventually make you lazy so you'll name your variables < three characters.
That will make things a huge mess if you're working with a team.
An IDE with Intellisense™ speeds up development by ∞. Everything can be done from the IDE. Really. I can't imagine coding without it. It'd be a chore.
But even more critical is the debugger. A good debugger can save you days of figuring out what you did wrong.
