I don't need anything fancy, my new mouse is dying(clicks not registering, mouse is all over the place), and does anyone think this is a bad idea? All I've found out about this brand is they're from china, have recieved positive reviews(when you can actually find one that wasn't copied and pasted), and they try to mimic other gaming mice(although usually razer). It's just 10 bucks so no harm done if it sucks, but has anyone even heard of this brand?
Look at the price ...Cheap knock off chinese brand ...Well , you will get what you pay for
I highly recommend Zalman M400 My review : Only 20$ , high quality feet , high grip scroll wheel , high accuracy , gold plated USB connector , very durable Omron Switch Edit : Addional info : Zalman is a well-known brand . admin89 Wrote:Look at the price ...Cheap knock off chinese brand ...Well , you will get what you pay for Agreed. Get yourself a G500 or G500S and laugh at poor people! If you have the option to not buy cheap chinese products and you choose to ignore that option anyways you are "literally hitler". Let me give you a recent personal example. Take this piece of shit that I made the mistake of buying a few months back: http://www.ebay.com/itm/4000-Pond-Bio-Fi...4d03f0fb74 I needed a pond filter and since my previous filter was $250 I decided that I wanted to pay less this time. After looking around on amazon and some other places I quickly found out that finding one under $300 was hard let alone under $200. And very little information was available for most of these filters online not to mention a complete lack of user reviews. So I didn't really know what I was buying and figured that virtually anything would be good enough. So I checked ebay for some cheap used or new models. Search on ebay for anything related to pond filters and literally half of your results will be this thing under different names and from different retailers. It's $100 from most retailers while comparable filters cost $200-350 at the minimum. I couldn't really find any info. about it online but it didn't look that bad, it has the same basic design as every other pond filter in that category. And lots of different retailers were selling it so I figured why not. Well when I got it I found out that the brand name is sunsun (what a retarded name, you can immediately tell that it's a chinese knock off) which is not mentioned by any of the retailers I could find carrying it. And sure enough it's a chinese knock off. Long story short after opening the box I could immediately tell that the materials were cheap and the design was suboptimal. Although it didn't look terrible, it looked like it would still do its job well enough to satisfy me. The pathetic instruction "booklet" (more of a pamphlet really) that came with it lacks any of the information you really need to operate it and there is no info. available online. I couldn't even find the manufacturers website (I'm not even sure if they have one). So I had to figure it out on my own. At first it seemed to be working pretty well but the longer I used it the more flaws I discovered in the design. The "core" is made of nearly identical looking parts that are supposed to be placed in the correct order. The order isn't listed in the instruction booklet or available anywhere online so I basically had to guess. This is made worse by the fact that nearly every order you can possible stack them in fits. So I'll never know if I got it right. One thing I found really bizarre is the instruction booklet warns you to keep it out of direct sunlight due to UV damage. This is a fucking pond filter! It's supposed to be outside! It's extremely difficult to open and close and took me 3 attempts to stop it from leaking the first time I installed it. The intake/outtake flow is suboptimal and after I installed a flow rate valve on the outtake side the valve was jammed full of gunk within a week. Since it's on the outtake side that shouldn't happen. The filter should be filtering out any debris and passing clean water out. But it's not. A lot of the debris it's supposed to be filtering out gets all the way through due to its shitty design. Even the sponges are shitty! How do you fuck up sponges! How! After further inspecting the design I figured out why debris was getting through. There is a pretty large hole leading to the outtake side with no filter media (sponges) covering it at all. And this is not a mistake, this is clearly part of the intended design. Disassembling/reassembling the core for cleaning is a pain in the ass. The plastic is flimsy and the pieces fit together so tightly that sometimes you just cannot pull them apart. Last weekend when I was cleaning it I pulled with all my might and the core snapped in half like a twig, and the parts still didn't come off. Somewhere deep down I knew it was going to happen eventually with such a tight fit. I just didn't think it would be so soon. I've only had the thing maybe 2 months now. I then redesigned the thing using only the things I had immediately available around the house without going out shopping. I took some spare filter media and rubber bands. Pulled out the core and threw it away. Covered the hole leading to the outtake valve at the bottom of the central rod with filter media. Then wrapped filter media all the way around the rod and rubber banded it shut. After a week of using this new makeshift/redneck design my design is more efficient! I'm getting much better flow, noticeably clearer water in the pond, and the outtake valve still isn't gunked up! An engineer had to design this thing (probably by poorly duplicating a better design). How it is that my shitty rubber bands + filter media design is actually doing a better job? I'm probably going to just buy an expensive filter and replace it soon. But ultimately this is just another case of being too greedy and not following "you get what you pay for". Whenever I try to order anything that is outrageously cheap compared to the alternatives this kind of shit tends to happen. It should have been an immediate red flag but I got greedy.

I own a G500, bought it a few months ago. That thing is freakin awesome dude. Going from my ancient MX1000 to the G500 is a night and day difference. How did I ever live without it!

Maybe that filter only works well in Chinese ponds? You never know...

Fixed. @RachelB Either you were lucky or that particular type of product is really hard to fuck up. More likely the latter.
