Shoot were only ~2 months from the anniversary update now. How strange that the November update did not install.
I'd try running a disk and registry cleaner to see if that helps.

Anyone still using xf86-input-evdev and the synaptics driver should switch to libinput and xf86-input-libinput. The Synaptics driver hasn't received an update in years and libinput makes for a general more robust experience.

Just reinstalled Windows 10 x64 on my desktop . I only use laptop most of the time . That's why I only keep NVidia driver for notebook

The immediate benefit is that taps are registered as soon as releasing the finger, not after a delay. One annoyance I encountered is that, on one of my touchpads, very small finger movements are too sensitive. I can't reconfigure and fix this problem because they use complicated, hard-coded algorithms.
