Meh, there are a bunch of authorised key retailers these days, all of which try to undercut each other, and Steam. You don't need to rely on anything that isn't 100% allowed and endorsed by publishers to get good deals. Personally, I use https://isthereanydeal.com to keep track of stuff, as it's good for keeping a wishlist, and while it doesn't track every legitimate site, all of the ones it does track are fine (except, almost ironically, GreenManGaming, which used to be everyone's default source for above-board keys, but now, at least in the case of their Activision keys, they don't have enough of a paper trail to trust them on everything).

THIS. IsThereAnyDeal FTW And about GreenManGaming, I think I purchased here two or three times and everything went well. Care to elaborate this incident with Activision keys? I wasn't aware people were having issues with GMG...

If I can get a i7-4790k for $259 + Tax should I do it or get a i5-4690k for $199 + Tax? I'm going to be playing FO4 for quite a while which apparently makes use of a i7 more.

@Steam Never had any issue with GMG here. But if you want to participate in the Steam event (for the badge, cards, etc) you'll have to purchase your games directly via Steam. Just something to keep in mind. Hopefully the sale will be good.
@DatKid20 personally I'd go with the i7, but it depends on what you're doing. If you can afford it then why not. 11-25-2015, 10:33 PM

They said that when you preordered CoD Black Ops 3 (if not 3, whatever the new one a few days ago was) you wouldn't get the preorder bonus, but about a third of people did, and quite a few people found that their keys didn't work. The moderators of /r/GameDeals emailed GMG and Activision to try and work out what was going on (as they don't allow links to grey-market sellers to be posted) and Activision replied saying that GMG weren't an authorised reseller for their keys, so couldn't have bought them directly. GMG gave a statement that they source their keys from a variety of places, all of which were totally legitimate ("If the key activates, it's real" (paraphrased)), but they wouldn't say where, and as most publishers don't allow authorised key retailers to sell their keys to businesses, without a paper-trail the chances of them actually being from a different region or otherwise dodgy is pretty high.
