I was awake when the pulled all four of mine last summer, just a local anesthetic and didn't feel anything.

I hate to think about it. I'm unconscious, I don't know what is happening and some people do things with my body. Creepy feeling. And what is even creepier, I fear that I don't wake up after the anaesthesia. 07-20-2015, 12:02 PM

NaturalViolence Wrote:Did they use general anaesthesia or local? They used local on me and did all 4 at once when I had mine removed. I felt EVERYTHING. When I had my wisdom teeth taken out, I went with local, and I didn't feel a thing. But when they injected the shots for me, it was a LOT. They had to do two rounds of it, in fact, the first round of shots was on the surface, and the second round was deeeep in the gums! And they applied more shots as they went along. It worked! I didn't feel a thing. So I got to contemplate on the horrible saw-blade and spraying blood sounds in peace! <3 Of course, when I did it my mom took me to a professional, an oral surgeon. He had done a bazillion of these operations, so he knew exactly how to do it. We were on great insurance at the time, so that helped pay for it all. Maybe that's why it went so well for me? He doesn't like using a lot of anesthetic unless absolutely necessary, especially general.

Working on another mower today, hope I get this one running as well. Buying a rider from my parents and considering a small side business of fixing up small engines/mowers and mowing lawns for some cash on the side. Finding small projects to work on for now to hone my skills. I have a fairly good concept of what to do, it's just getting them back together and running. Well I did have some training in vocational school so that helped.
