This issue is driving me nuts, maybe someone has a solution for me Shy

I am playing Super Mario Galaxy 2 and I am getting Dolphin.exe crashes, mostly StackHash related...with all kinds of settings (DSP-HLE, DSP-LLE, DX9, DX11, OpenGL, Resolutions 1x/2x/2.5x)
They are happening...
  • sometimes after 2min
  • sometimes after 20min
  • sometimes 2 crashes within 2-3min/short amount of time

Have you checked your ISO's MD5 hash? It sounds like you could have a bad dump. Google for an MD5 hash checking program, then copy paste that hash into google and see what comes up. If the top results are GameTDB.com and redump.org for Super Mario Galaxy 2, then you're good. No results, weird results? Bad dump.

I`ll do that in the evening.

It should not be settings-related I guess (as I tried almost everything)? Could it be an overclocking issue and/or bad memory?

The system should shut down itself if your overclock wasn't stable, but still try checking your temps whilst dolphin is running.

The system will not necessarily shut itself down if the overclock is unstable. It can cause many things like apps crashing, hard freezes, etc. A quick way to tell if that is the issue is to eliminate your overclock first and see if the issue goes away (CPU and GPU overclock if applicable). If it does, you know you have to work on your overclock. If not, perhaps monitor your CPU and GPU temps to see if they are high.

You can also try stable 3.5 version to see if you get the same results.
