64 bit version: http://dl-mirror.dolphin-emu.org/4.0.1/d...-4.0.1.exe
Also, you won't get fullspeed with Super Mario Galaxy, it's a veery demanding game, the CPU isn't fast enough and you're on a laptop, most of the laptops can't be overclocked...

When It did work for 20 minutes wihtout crashing it seemed to play fine ha. Shame to think my CPU still isn't enough for Wii considering what that had! I'll give this 64 bit version a go 11-17-2013, 06:47 AM

Emulation performance is *much* more complicated than "my hardware is better than the original console, so it should run fine". bsnes, for example, emulates the old SNES with its chips running at only a handful of megahertz each, yet it still requires a ~3 GHz CPU to run. (There are other SNES emulators that are faster, but they're less accurate, therefore they have bugs. (Not "more bugs", just "bugs". bsnes has no known bugs.))

Super Mario Galaxy here runs at 45-50FPS, and while it's playable, it isn't running at fullspeed, and the FPS changes makes hard doing some actions requiring timed inputs...

Hey! I'm on 4.0.1 and I have bad but my friend is running 4.0.1 with good specs. It keeps crashing on both of ours. Is there a way to fix this? Also, my system runs about a 40%-50% average speed. Are my specs really that bad or am I doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

The crashing may be due to using HLE audio, which SMG has quite a few issues with (e.g. the music disappearing, crashing/hanging when getting a Grand Star). I dunno, though – ever since the VS2013 update, I've been hearing about some weird-ass issues on Windows.
Also, yeah, your specs are kinda mid-range when it comes to current Dolphin. An overclocked 4670K paired with a better desktop GPU is ideal.
