whenever i play around with dolphin i will get some random massive freeze that will freeze the whole computer for like 10 second and after its over all the texture are gonna be messed up and I most likely ahve to restart the emulator
I was wondering if that was a common occurance for everybody... because i also suspect that to be my video card fault because the texture get messed up just like that in other computer games too without the freeze thought and alot less frequantly

i'm using a geforce gt240 under windows xp 32bits

This happens for all dolphin and windows games?

If yes, try to clean your pc and remove the dust...

Dust can cause some slowdown and artifact in your graphic card...

yes but i know its not the dust... when i bought this new video card i was getting random blue screen too.... then a new update came out and i stop having blue screen...so i would guess that its still related to the video card having bad drive for XP since this video card was probably made for vista/7
last update for xp is back in octobre.... last update for vista in junuary so yea

It must be probably cooler. download cpu fan, and test.
CPU temperature fan
If your computer freeze after of power-on using office is windows or cooler
If only freeze when launch any graphic or game aplication... it,s cooler or mainboard.
If after install cooler the problem persist... change mainboard
I had the same problem.
