Rampage Total Destruction (GCN) - Compatible or a big fat lie?

So while I know the Wii version of Rampage Total Destruction runs okay on Dolphin, I merely wanted to test the Gamecube version to see if ran any faster framerate-wise. Well, I loaded it up and it freezes immediately upon loading a level. I know that for a long time this game has been plagued with emulation issues, and very few, if any revisions load the game. Well, I was looking on the Dolphin Wiki and noticed that the game was listed as compatible as of revision 7xxx (somewhere in the 7000s). Well, I think either A, the person who tested it merely experienced a fluke or B, something in versions past 3.0 has something broken yet again, rendering the game unplayable. What's the last known version that the game runs on?

Dolphin info -
Version: 3.0-408-gf3c8db3 (x64 L102 ICC Build by Lectrode)
Settings: All default (except for video resolution)
Any suggestions on getting this resolved?
First F-ZeroGX is deemed "playable", now this game?

.....it is playable.

Always crashes when I try it (after the Sega logo shows up), same with Rampage. PAL or NTSC?

Weird. F-Zero GX only crashes when running in dual core mode, which should be disabled in the .ini file in recent revisions. Try turning off dual core. If you can't get that game running then something is definitely wrong on your end, because lots of people play F-Zero GX without any problems.

Disable dual-core? Ouch, that would make it a crapload slower, wouldn't it? I'm surprised I can run GCN/Wii games as well as I can on this machine. I must have bad luck with getting some of these games to run properly. It's bad enough I got a funky error loading Mario Kart Wii, "this file cannot be used because the data is corrupted. Delete the file and create a new one?" only to have that bring me to a "could not read/write from Wii system memory." WTF?

Not sure if this answer is still relevant to the newer revisions, but you may need an existing MK Wii save file. At least, that's the only answer I could find on this old thread. It's worth a shot.

Funny thing is, I used to have a save for the game on the same HDD I have Dolphin installed on, so not sure why it's freaking out. Where is the emulated NAND stored for Dolphin?
Yep. F-Zero doesn't load worth crap with dual core disabled, so....The POS crashes.

The emulated NAND is under the User/Wii directory.

Okay so since I didn't back up my own Mario Kart save, I just downloaded one that had a complete profile and it worked just fine. Looks like the one I had got corrupted for one reason or another (which is weird, seeing as I didn't do jack squat to it). Now, F-Zero, heh, that's another beast for me to tame.
