Catalist 10.2 works fine on my ati 2900xt over clocked at 828 core and 900 memory come to think of it i my card only has 512 meg on board yours must have 1 gig i have never seen that error im running all the same games except animal crossing are u using wii motes if so
get this version
x86 http://cid-b6bee41d96c156ce.skydrive.liv.../r5153.rar ( these files are not mine im resharing the lin because james 333 did say he dident care if any 1 reshared them hes the author of the build).

x64 http://cid-b6bee41d96c156ce.skydrive.liv.../r5164.rar

heres my settings let me know how u get on ps only use the latest drivers
General Settings
dual core yes
idle skipping yes
frame linit auto
hle the ipl yes
jit recompiler yes
under wii tab
use euro 60 and reconnect wii mote yes

Settings Direct3D note : resolution doesent matter im using 1080 p on both
Vsync yes
aspec ratio auto
in enhansments tab
click yes to 16 times antroscopic filtering and enable hi res loading
efb scale coopy yes
in advanced tab
efb to texture
and disable fog
also overlay fps so u can see if its better
DSP Settings
enable hle
enable dtk

now in catalist 10.2 you need to ballence your graphics card settings with dolphin

smoothvision anti-alasing let aplication decide
smoothvision hd antroscopic filitering let aplication decide
catalist ai advance
mipmap detail move slider to peformance
Vertical refresh move slider to off unless aplication decides
adaptive antianatilising enabled and to quality
Open gl enable triple buffering

MB : ga p35 ds4
CPU : Intel Pentium Dual Core @3.72GHz E6750
Gfx : ATI 2900 XT ATI OVERDRIVE set at 827 mhz core and 900 memory
Ram : 3 GB DDR2 800MHz mushking running at 927 with a 2 x multuplyer caz of my prosessor oc otherwise its unstable
OS : Windows Vista 64 Ultimate

Please let me know if you tried it my cards older than yours but caz i have a dual core e6750 running at 3.72 ill get slightly higher frame rates even though you have a quad because dolphin will only use 2 cores im shure dont hold me to that

Please update your drivers and your direct x there ate links on this site in one of the main 2 builders 1st pages if you were using a old version thats your problem but do try james333 version as there must be other fixes in it caz some games that in the new ver from mamario i need special settings for like no more heroes 2 just seem to work and at 30 fps ok for that game theres 1 more important setting i forgot to tell you you must have selected under direct x enable cpu to efb access other wise ii noticed that in mario galaxy you wont be able to click on the star that transports you to the diffrent places no matter how hard you try.

Sorry for the miss quote
